    The straight right hand

The straight right hand is the second most important punch in boxing. The straight right hand is usually thrown after the jab. It can also be a very effective and damaging punch when used as part of a combination. For a person that is right handed it’s usually their strongest punch vice versa for a person that is left handed then it would be the straight left hand. Now they are many exceptions to this. What I mean is that a lot of fighters work specifically to develop other punches to be their strongest punch. Depending on their style, size or whether they are right handed fighter in which is they are called “unorthodox” stance or left handed “southpaw” stance.

    The jab

The jab is one of the most important punches in boxing. The jab helps you establish your distance between you and your opponent. Can also be used for many strategic reasons, from offsetting your opponent rythmeto keeping your opponent at bay if you’re the taller fighter or helping you get inside your opponent if you’re the shorter fighter. Also the jab can be used for setting up the opponent for other punches and also for simply just wearing your opponent out.

    Hand wraps

Hand wraps are extremely essential component in boxing.
It’s very important to make sure you hand wrap your hands properly before each training session or fight. Your hands contain 27 bones in which it can be easily broken or dislocated when not properly cared for. Your hands in reality weren’t built to punch hard objects like. So once you break any of the bones or even dislocate any of them your hands would never be the same. So to ensure a healthy and long boxing experience make sure you properly hand wraps your hands before each training session or fight.
