Thanks for putting up this article. I'm unquestionably frustrated with struggling to search out relevant and rational commentary on this issue. Everybody today goes to the very far extremes to either drive home their viewpoint that either: everyone else in the planet is wrong, or two that everyone but them does not really understand the situation. Many thanks for your concise, applicable insight.

Very well explained. This video also shows not just the simple jump rope techniques but also more advanced ones, which I appreciate. Thanks so much!

Hey thanks for the videos... I've only been training about 6 months and have a lot to learn. Sometimes our classes are very large which means we don't get the time we might otherwise to work on technique. Your videos are all simple and easy to follow and help to reinforce the training. Also I've been working on my defences a lot lately, so this video in particular has helped.

Hi Adolfo,

I'd like to thank you for your great instructional videos. I'm a mixed martial artist (Shotokan and TKD)and I work in security, but always found that traditional martial arts footwork techniques and punches - only when we HAVE to use them - less than effective in intense real-life street situations. Your videos here are a great starting point for grapplers like myself and you have covered in about 30 cumulative minutes the main points of boxing conditioning which some others can't do in 30 hours. I hope there is more to come.

Thanx.

Hello Oldschool,Thanks for the feedback. What I recomend is for you to try it for your yourself and see what feels more natural & powerful to you. From my expience and I have a lot, when throwing the hook I shift the weight using both of my legs while sitting on the punch because It able me to throw a much more powerful hook that way. Most of boxing fighters who are knowned for throwing a mean hook from Mike Tyson to Joe Frazer have throwned the hook this way.The only way you will tranfer the weight to the back leg is if you were lunging forward with the hook.I hope you were able to find this info useful....Adolfo
